Lake Anna Winery “OKTOBERFEST”

Save the date for Sat. Oct. 4 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.. You will not want to miss the palate titillating, authentic German dinner that will be expertly presented by the well-known caterer, Clover Forest Plantation.

A souvenir glass with wine will also be included.  Bring your dancing shoes because no one can sit still listening to the live music of Michael Wheelehan of Fredericksburg.  He has developed a large following throughout Virginia and the east coast.  His fans have a cultivated taste for great music and they love to be entertained.  There will be a silent auction of very interesting and diverse items with proceeds benefiting The Louisa County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity.

Louisa Habitat for Humanity is raising funds for their 6th house in Louisa County.  Habitat helps families with low income and inadequate housing that live or work in Louisa county. They provide a no interest mortgage that gives families a sense of pride and ownership which comes from learning to work on their own home and those of other habitat families.  Habitat is dependent on the volunteers who donate time and money toward the cause of providing affordable housing for hard working partner families.  Community support is essential!

Make your reservations early by calling Lake Anna Winery at 540-895-5085, Gail at 540-872-3345 or email: GMSpectrum@aol.com for the entertainment bargain of the year.  Evenings you may call Sherri Brown at 540 967-9727 or email her at brownsb@verizon.net  to make your reservation.  Only $35 will get you a great dinner, an evening of dancing and live music, wine tasting, and a souvenir wine glass from Lake Anna Winery.  While you are enjoying an exceedingly pleasurable evening, you will be helping to support a very worthy cause.
