TOOLBOXES ON PARADE FUNDRAISER

Calling all artists!  Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville’s Women Build Program is seeking artists to creatively paint or decorate wooden toolboxes.  A limited number of artists will be selected for a juried competition.   

Women Build members will construct the toolboxes and the decorated boxes will be sold during the 2nd annual “Tool Boxes on Parade” fall fundraiser Friday, November 5 at the McGuffey Arts Center.  Proceeds will help fund the Women Build Program's 8th house sponsorship in the Charlottesville area. 

You can download the application if you would like to decorate a toolbox. Please submit your application to toolboxesonparade@gmail.com or mail/deliver to Women Build, Greater Charlottesville Habitat for Humanity, 501 Grove Avenue, Charlottesville, Va. 22902."

Donations to Women Build

Your donations to Women Build go into our sponsorship fund. Once we reach the magic number of $60,000, we can start building another home for a Habitat Partner Family -- and build skills, confidence, and friendships among the volunteers who swing the hammers on the job site.
