Volunteer Return to Work FAQs

  • If I have been asymptomatic for 5 days and receive a negative rapid test result on the 5th day, can I come in to volunteer or do I need to wait an additional 5 days? You may come in after the 5 day period. No additional time is needed.

  • Is a negative PCR test sufficient for people to come back immediately? Yes -- a negative PCR test allows someone to come back immediately, provided they don’t have a fever or symptoms.

  • I was recently exposed to COVID, do I need a negative test result to return to volunteering? You do not need a negative test result before returning. Instead, please abide by the full quarantine period and return after that time is complete, provided that you remain symptom-free.
