While our main office is closed to the public in light of Covid-19, we are still working to create safe, affordable homeownership opportunities in Greater Charlottesville.
You can learn more about Habitat's interim work during Covid-19 here and visit the Store's website to find their adjusted hours and procedures here.

Partner Family Resources

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville is committed to supporting families as they move forward through the homebuyer journey. Our current homebuyers are working to complete a minimum of 100 hours of sweat equity per family plus an additional 100 hours for each adult in the household. Sweat equity includes hours spent on the construction site, volunteering at our office or the Habitat Store, and attending classes to learn how to become a successful homeowner.

Thank you to all of our partner families for working so hard to complete the program requirements and ensuring your own success as a homeowner. See below for resources specifically for homebuyers.

Congratulations to all of our partner families that have completed the journey to homeownership! We are eager to continue the partnership with you even after you have moved into your home. See below for resources specifically for homeowners.
